Missing Bedford Boater Found Dead in Maine

The Maine Marine Patrol recovered the body of Chester Benjamin Wiggins, 84, of Bedford, on Sept. 25, roughly 150 feet off Ocean Avenue Extension in York. Wiggins' 17-foot Boston Whaler had been found the previous day; he had been missing since the evening of Sept. 22 in Cape Neddick Harbor. The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
