The Back Bay Architectural Commission holds its monthly hearing virtually Wednesday at 4:30 p.m., opening with violations cases on an unapproved rooftop balustrade alteration at 251 Commonwealth Ave., unapproved masonry work at 274 Marlborough St., and an unapproved lattice enclosure and mechanical equipment at 416 Marlborough St. Design review begins at 5 p.m. with proposals including an oriel window at 226 Beacon St., an air-conditioning condenser at 348 Marlborough St., a roof deck and access stair at 176 Commonwealth Ave., and window replacements plus garden-level egress windows at 299 Beacon St. Residents can join by Zoom or by calling 646-828-7666 with meeting ID 165 604 7575, or email written comments to BackBayAC@boston.gov.
