Green Line B, C, D Branches Shut Down Aug. 8-16

Starting Saturday, the MBTA will suspend Green Line service between Government Center/Kenmore and Babcock Street on the B, C and D branches for nine days, through Aug. 16. Free shuttle buses will connect riders to the Orange Line at Back Bay Station. The closure allows crews to perform critical signal upgrades in the century-old central Green Line tunnel and work on the C Branch Accessibility Improvements Project.
