Broad daylight stabbing on Tremont Street renews safety concerns

Police say a man was stabbed near Tremont Street and Temple Place around 1:48 p.m. Friday after a fight with another man, and was rushed to the hospital. Residents and business owners near Boston Common say the incident is part of a troubling series downtown; WBZ has covered five people shot in separate incidents around Tremont Street in the past month, and Jonathan Sanon was beaten to death on the Common last week. "This isn't political, it's not controversial, it's not debatable, we have an issue," said Rishi Shukla of the Downtown Boston Neighborhood Association.
