Arlington Spy Ponders Shut Out Wakefield, 28-0

Arlington High's Spy Ponders defeated Wakefield Memorial 28-0 on Friday, Sept. 25, earning their first win of the season and improving to 1-2. The result was a surprise: Wakefield entered ranked 92nd in MaxPreps' Massachusetts football rankings to Arlington's 202nd, and the loss was the Warriors' first of the season. Arlington hosts Reading Memorial next Friday at 6 p.m., the Spy Ponders' first conference game.
