Robbins Farm Park adds two accessible parking spaces

The town reported Sept. 17 that two accessible parking spaces were completed at Robbins Farm Park in August, along with a curb ramp and a realignment of the sidewalk and fence on the park side of Eastern Avenue. The work was paid for in part by a $25,000 grant from the Massachusetts Office on Disability. The park's playground was the first in Arlington designed with Universal Design principles, and the spaces let visitors with disabilities reach it; the project involved the Disability Commission, the office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Engineering and the Recreation Department.
