State Delegation Files Bill to Study Red Line Extension into Arlington

Arlington's state legislative delegation filed a bill on Sept. 18 that would repeal a 1980 law restricting MBTA planning for a Red Line extension into town. The filing follows a home rule petition that Town Meeting approved in May. The bill would clear the way for studying an extension beyond Alewife.
