Scientists Voice Research Funding Fears at Arlington Town Hall
Massachusetts researchers gathered Tuesday evening at Robbins Memorial Town Hall with U.S. House Minority Whip Katherine Clark to discuss the Trump administration's disruption of scientific research, Cambridge Day reported Sept. 9. The forum was organized by the Union of Concerned Scientists, a science advocacy group whose lead organizer said the goal was to connect the local impact of funding freezes to the budget lines Clark defends in Congress. Clark, who recently won the Democratic primary to retain her 5th Congressional District seat, represents a district that includes much of Cambridge.
