Housing Overlay Committee Sets Joint Session With Redevelopment Board

The Affordable Housing Overlay District Committee will hold a joint session with the Arlington Redevelopment Board on Monday, Aug. 10, to discuss the draft list of properties and the zoning language proposed for the overlay. The committee was established under a Motion to Commit approved by 2025 Town Meeting to prepare amendments to the Zoning Bylaw and Zoning Map allowing housing that meets certain affordability requirements to be built as of right. It is charged with sharing draft proposals with the community, soliciting feedback, and finalizing recommendations before the close of the warrant.
