ACE Electricity Options Enter Lower-Rate Period
Starting Wednesday, Aug. 5, Arlington Community Electricity customers enter a new rate period running through January 2027, and the town says both the Arlington Local Green and Arlington Basic options will cost less than Eversource Basic Service during that stretch. Customers on Arlington Basic are projected to save about $113 over the period, while the nearly 95% of participants on the default Arlington Local Green option, which is 100% renewable, would save about $31. The town notes future savings cannot be guaranteed because future Eversource rates are unknown; customers may switch between ACE products at any time.
