Red Line shutdown between Alewife and Park St. ends Thursday

The MBTA's Red Line closure between Alewife and Park Street, in effect since July 21 for track and signal work, ends Thursday, July 30. Free shuttle buses replace trains until then, and riders can get a $10 Bluebikes credit with code BLUECROSSMBTA26. Arlington bus routes serving Alewife, including the 62, 67, 76, 350 and 77, continue running on their usual schedules.

Town Day booth applications, cable survey both due soon

Businesses and organizations can apply for a Town Day booth to avoid late fees by August 1, and residents can take the Arlington Cable Service Provider Survey by July 31.
