Household hazardous waste collection event set for today
Arlington residents can drop off pesticides, oil-based paints and auto care products at the Minuteman Hazardous Waste Facility in Lexington today, July 18, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is free, but ID and advance registration are required, and slots close once appointments fill. Accepted items include insecticides, solvents, engine cleaners, used oil, cleaners and pool chemicals; latex paint, medical waste and prescription drugs are not accepted.
