10-Day MBTA Red Line Suspension Planned Between Alewife and Park Street

MBTA will suspend Red Line service between Alewife and Park Street for 10 consecutive days, July 21 through 30, as part of system renewal and revitalization work, Town Manager Jim Feeney announced July 16. Shuttle service will be provided, and riders can also use the Green Line, Commuter Rail, and existing bus routes as alternatives. Delays are expected during the closure.
