Tree Committee asks residents to water young street trees amid heat advisory
With a state-issued unhealthy heat advisory running July 13 through 16 as temperatures top 90 degrees, the DPW and Arlington Tree Committee are asking residents to help protect young street trees. Fill the green bags at the base of new trees, or use a slow watering method from a hose if there is no bag. A how-to flyer is available at arlingtonma.gov/trees.
