Unhealthy Heat Alert: Town Offers Safety Tips for Residents

With temperatures forecasted to exceed 90 degrees, Town officials are urging residents to avoid overexertion, drink plenty of water, and check on family and neighbors. Residents can cool off at the Arlington Reservoir, the North Union Spray Park, or at the Fox and Robbins libraries, and those 60 and older can visit the Community Center at 27 Maple St. Officials also remind residents to water new street trees and to run air conditioners in the morning and evening to stay cool and save money.
