Arlington man honors fallen Vietnam War friend at Veterans Park
Arlington resident Rocky Rogers paid tribute at Veterans Memorial Park to his lifelong friend, Specialist Five Robert Charles Tedford, who enlisted in the Army to provide for his family and was killed in Vietnam on March 22, 1969. Rogers, who lives in Arlington center, told photographer Dave Shrewsbury he often offers a small tribute when he passes Tedford's name on the memorial. Rogers said he is eager to see the park's planned renovation.
