Arlington Town Meeting Unanimously Approves FY2027 Budget
Town Meeting passed the FY2027 operating budget, directing approximately $107.8 million to the school district. The budget is funded in part by March's $14.8 million Proposition 2½ override.

388 of 757 Gas Leaks in Arlington Still Unrepaired
National Grid reported 757 gas leaks in Arlington in 2025; as of May, 388 remain open. Town Manager Jim Feeney says the leaks are Arlington's third-largest source of greenhouse gas emissions, accounting for roughly 6% of the total.

Musicians, porch hosts, and visual artists have until May 14 to register for Arlington Porchfest, set for Saturday, June 20, 12–6 p.m. The free festival, presented by Arlington Center for the Arts, typically features more than 300 performances.
