Longtime Andover bank employee Mary Leone dies at 100
Mary M. Leone died Thursday, Aug. 13, eighteen days shy of her 101st birthday. She began working at the bank at 23 Main Street in downtown Andover in 1944 and stayed more than 70 years, through name changes from Andover National Bank to BayBank, BankBoston, Fleet and finally Bank of America. Still coming in several days a week at 90, she was recognized as one of Bank of America's oldest and longest-serving employees.
