Pedestrian Critically Injured in Collision With Bicyclist Near Comm Ave and St. Mary's

A woman walking near Commonwealth Avenue and St. Mary's Street suffered life-threatening injuries at about 9:09 a.m. Tuesday after colliding with a bicyclist, police said. A Boston University student who witnessed the crash said the pedestrian was breathing but unresponsive, and that the cyclist was bleeding from the face. Both were taken to local hospitals, and the Boston Police Homicide Unit is leading the investigation.
