Acton Water District Eases Restrictions to Level 3

Effective Sept. 23, the Acton Water District moved from Level 4 to Level 3 outdoor water use restrictions. Lawn and landscape irrigation is now allowed one day a week, before 7 a.m. or after 7 p.m., and each property's allowed day is shown on a map on the district's website. The district says groundwater levels remain low after a year of persistent drought, but operations at the South Acton Water Treatment Plant have normalized following unexpected maintenance.
