Cronin, 19, of Falmouth, was arraigned Monday in Fall River Superior Court and is being held without bail on multiple charges stemming from an August confrontation with Seekonk police. According to police, on Aug. 13 a motorcycle rear-ended a sedan stopped near 178 Central Avenue (Route 152). While the operator was being medically evaluated in an ambulance, officers determined he had given false information, and authorities allege he then tried to disarm an officer.
